On this day, my husband and I were in London, visiting the Museum of Natural History and reflecting on the history of life on our planet. We saw some beautiful exhibits on the dinosaurs. The exhibits included new, moving models of Tyrannosaurus Rex and several smaller predatory dinosaurs. They moved in response to the movements of the visitors, so that it looked as if they were watching us and waiting to pounce.

Afterwards, we went on to see exhibits of the history of the mammals, showing many animals that have become extinct in the course of human history. The exhibits pointed out how human hunters and the expansion of human populations during the Age of Exploration could have contributed to the loss of habitat for many beautiful animals that are no longer around today.

The experience helped us to renew our dedication to protect the living things that are still part of our natural world and to educate others to respect and enjoy the natural world.
