On August 6th I was at the national Inner City Outings training conference in New Hampshire. I began the day with a jog up Mt. Williard at the AMC's conference center at Crawford Notch. After lingering at summit to enjoy the view I ran down the mountain and prepared for a day of informative seminars.

Along with learning about ways to teach kids to discover the outdoors, I was having a great time socializing with like-minded people. I learned so much from other active Sierra Club members and was inspired by their dedication to youth and the environment. I also spent time giving feedback on the conference in hopes of qualifying for one of the great door prizes -- a cloth sack ideal for taking to the grocery store time and time again.
