The Sierra Club seems to permeate into most things that I do. Today I finished rewriting a newspaper article on the importance of our outings as a tool in increasing awareness of "the places we've saved." Unfortunately, on the more frustrating side, my attempts to help preserve a 14-acre urban vegetable garden in our Latino community (which might be bulldozed by the developer on Wednesday when a legal stay ends) seem frustrated by community factionalism and other chapter activists who support the garden and many others who feel that it's important that the factions come together first; with all too little time left.
